Any ideas? A cheapish and good ocable cpu? The Q8200 i have is a poor overclocker apparently but i just cant understand why it has dropped soo much! I really could do with keeping my rig for at least another year or two so a full mobo and cpu and ram upgrade is unaffordfable at present thats why i just went for an extra gpu as suggested until i get a decent wad of green together for a full upgrade. Even with everything set to Auto on my mobo bios it still wont hit the 1800fsb mark like it used to and bsod and freezes above 1640fsb. I am not an experienced overclocker really and am unsure if my cpu is on the way out (kept vcore voltage low as possible at 1.2935 (or so)) or the mobo is not allowing a higher oc so am unsure what to do to improve the oc. On the other note about ocing my cpu it only stays stable at 1600fsb so i can only get 2.8ghz from 2.33ghz stock, it used to run at 3.15ghz on 1800fsb but wont even post if i try above 1680fsb and this is not stable so i leave it at 1600fsb.

I tried uninstalling the drivers and rebooting still no sli option.can't find too much info really, do these cards have to have exactly the same VRAM to work? Do i need special drivers to sli these 2 cards so they both run together? There is no 'enable sli' option in the control panel it only allows me to use this second card for PhysX. EVGA, like most of NVIDIAs other board partners, has recently updated its GeForce graphics card lineup with the introduction of the new GeForce GTX 275. I checked the heat coming out of the back of the cards and it seems as though only my SSC main card is kicking out heat, the other SC in the bottom slot has a slow fan speed and no heat coming out of the back. I have the 2nd card in the bottom slot as instructed in the manual on my mobo but after attaching the sli adaptor and starting the pc back up, the fan runs and it shows up as another gpu in precisionX but after benching on 3dmark vantage there is no difference. I have removed all power, installed the card, booted up windows then the latest drivers same as my other card and powered down. So i eventually got an EVGA GTX275 SC (896mb) second hand for next to buttons (yay! for once *bay), couldn't find another SSC (1792mb) though they must not have been too many produced i guess.
